Why it matters

A professional installation makes all the difference

A reliable air conditioner keeps you comfortable through summer heat waves and helps maintain indoor air quality on smoky days. But even the best equipment won't perform if it's sized or installed poorly.

A professional installation makes sure your system runs efficiently and cools your whole home evenly. A heat pump can cool in summer and heat in winter.

Insulation first?

Your AC can only cool what your home holds onto

If your attic insulation is thin, damaged or full of rodent debris, a new AC or heat pump has to work harder to keep up. Because we do insulation and HVAC under one roof, we'll tell you honestly whether improving your insulation should come first.

“Attic Crew really saved us! The insulation we had in our house was so ancient, we were using the heater all day and night! After Attic Crew changed our insulation and cleaned our attic, everything became so much better! The house stays cool on the warm days and warm on the cold days.”

“We moved into a new home that had rodents in the attics. Attic Crew was respectful, polite, and well-priced. Zabi was the Project Manager for our project and he takes such great joy in his work. He spent hours making sure all entry points were sealed and provided before and after photos. He used top tier insulation and cleaned our attic spaces to perfection.”

Common questions

Air Conditioning Installation FAQ

Central AC, a heat pump or a ductless mini-split?

If your home has good ductwork, central AC or a ducted heat pump is usually the simplest choice. Ductless mini-splits are ideal for homes without ducts, which is common in older Seattle homes, as well as additions and rooms that never get enough air. We'll recommend the best fit.

What size air conditioner do I need?

It depends on your home's size, insulation, windows, sun exposure and ductwork. We assess all of it rather than guessing from square footage.

Should I upgrade my insulation first?

If your attic insulation is thin or damaged, improving it reduces how hard your AC has to work. We'll tell you honestly if it's worth doing.

Do you offer maintenance plans?

Yes. Regular maintenance extends the life of your AC and keeps it running efficiently.
